Starting your CTX8012 Pro correctly—especially in colder conditions—is essential for smooth operation and long-term engine health. The glow plug system preheats the engine, making ignition easier and reducing strain on the starter.
1. Turn the Key to the Preheat Position
Insert the key and turn it to the first position. This activates the glow plugs.
2. Wait for the Glow Indicator
Hold the key in this position for 5–10 seconds (longer in colder weather). This allows the glow plugs to properly warm the engine.
3. Start the Engine
Turn the key fully to start the machine. The engine should fire smoothly if preheated correctly.
4. Release and Let It Idle
Once started, release the key and allow the engine to idle for a short period before operating. This helps oil circulate and ensures optimal performance.
